Amanda is completely new to the wonderful world of WheatonImprov, but has already fallen in love with it. She’s never done improv before but decided to join a workshop and ended up learning from the incredible Ben Hess and Alyssa Keysor who have taught her everything she knows thus far (and they are SPECTACULAR). She has been involved in theater however for practically her entire life and loves to sing and act. One time she even got to be Pippi Longstocking and wear this sweet wig that made her look like the girl on the Wendy’s commercials.
She has a passion for kids and hopes one day to be an Elementary Teacher, but understands her life is the Lord’s and is ready to surrender to His plan for her. Since she’s half Colombian and all she thought going for a minor in Spanish would be a good idea too—it may or may not be useful someday.
Aside from improv, Amanda enjoys painting (or anything crafty), writing letters, making homemade cards (you should see them sometime), milk, being outside, flowers, singing/music, long chats, ice cream, photography (not that she’s good at it, but it’s fun for her), and smiling. She loves to be sunshine to the people around her…perhaps improv will help her in this mission.
Amanda Gregornik (Spring 2010- Present) joined wheatonIMPROV as a workshopper and is a founding member of Kids These Days(Spring 2010), One of wheatonIMPROV's premier troupes.
