Josh Bartels failed to meet the deadline for his website bio, and has thus earned the following account, taken from the most reliable sources on campus:
THE DEVIANT ONE was born originally in the swedish alps to a traveling party of gypsies, who specialised in song and traditional ethnic dances. One day, THE DEVIANT ONE, very young, was separated from the other children and became lost. THE DEVIANT ONE, being somewhat resourceful and quick of mind, and being thoroughly given to the art of improvisation, soon found a pack of wolves and, mimicking the young wolf cubs, became a part of their clan.
This continued for the better part of a decade, the end of which saw THE DEVIANT ONE being rediscovered by a group of mimes, in whose company THE DEVIANT ONE soon became enmeshed, through similar means as those described above with the wolves. After traveling to Paris, London, and the small Italian hamlet of Narnia in the company of these mimes, THE DEVIANT ONE, being schooled in the art of basic improvisational skill, if only in a rudimentary fashion, hopped on board a cruiser heading, THE DEVIANT ONE thought, for Syracuse. This was not so. Instead, THE DEVIANT ONE found at the end of the voyage the shore of the United States, and after a series of complex social negotiations found HIMSELF/HERSELF/ITSELF in the company of many college students, who more or less accepted THE DEVIANT ONE and recognised THE DEVIANT ONE's skills in Improv. THE DEVIANT ONE is now being treated humanely and fed regularly in exchange for show performance.
