Josh's first visit ever to the Wheaton College community was for an improv show. At the time, Josh had planned to go to another college, and had almost everything arranged. He went to the show with his best friend, and joked later about how if they both ever ended up there they should do improv. A year later that joke became a reality. Josh took his first improv class at Wheaton College in the fall of 2007 and continued to learn as he went. Then, somehow, he ended up here. Well actually, he ended up here with help from Derek Buikema, Jeff Arteburn, and John Bagley. Josh continues to hone his improving skills just like his jedi skills, which are both coming along quite nicely.
Josh also loves to read and go to classes (Yes, its true). He enjoys videogames and takes joy in being called the game guru. He has held up three part time jobs thus far, and is incredibly proficient at selling televisions, making lattes, Fighting off Bradford, Taking Record photos (pun intended), and making posters.
Josh Blaney (Fall 2008- Present) joined wheatonIMPROV as a workshopper and is a founding member of Post Script Ambiguity (Fall 2008), wheatonIMPROV's first troupe made of entirely of workshop graduates. Josh has also served as the Public Relations Manager for wheatonIMPROV from Jan of 2009 through December of the same year.
