J.V. was born in Al Jahra, Kuwait and lived some in Quezon City in Manila, Philippines, (where his extended family lives). His mom, dad, and sister (named Veejay) currently live in Baytown, TX. He is ambidextrous and never owned a dog, although his family has gone through a couple of parakeets (Lilly and Daisy). When not driving around a tractor in the wee hours of the night, J.V. dabbles in the arts and spends time face to face with people he admires.

J.V. Andres (Fall 2003 - Spring 2007) was a founding member of Imaginary Friends, with which he performed for its entire run. He also served as club chaplain for most of that time.
