Olivia is a townie student who joined a wheatonIMPROV workshop led by Derek Buikema and Brendon Culhane at the beginning of her freshman year. At the end of that year, Olivia was placed on the newly-formed performance troupe, PSA, and never looked back.
Deep in the heart of wheatonIMPROV, Olivia discovered a group of friends in her fellow players who are unlike any she had ever known before. Surrounded by this community of love and support, Olivia has grown to be the person she is currently, and has finally been able to conquer her fears of vulnerability and spiders (which...actually...those are still very much in progress).
In addition to improv, Olivia invests herself in reading, drawing, music, movies, speaking in accents, used books, lava lamps, moleskines, coffee, and finding unusual words to wear out. But, primarily, Olivia likes to invest herself in people.
When not within a ten mile radius of Wheaton's campus, Olivia can be found hiking, camping, and rock climbing in the Adirondack mountains of New York...or really anywhere with decent hilly terrain. If you're looking for her during the summer of '12, Olivia will be hiking the Appalachian Trail. One day, Olivia hopes to build her own house.
Olivia Zimmermann (Fall 2008- Present) joined wheatonIMPROV as a workshopper and is a founding member of Post Script Ambiguity (Fall 2008), wheatonIMPROV's first troupe made of entirely of workshop graduates. Olivia has also served as Business Manager for wheatonIMPROV from Januare of 2009 through December of the same year
