One day a doctor and a nurse met for the 1st time on Ward 57 of Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Two years later, Zach Labutta was born. His first words of record were “Go, baby go!”

Since then, Zach’s life has been oriented around where he is going – namely Medical School. Unlike many, Zach never really grew up, and so plans on being a Pediatrician some day. Currently he is a Pre-Med student working on a Sociology major.

During the summer and breaks, Zach returns home to his family’s home in Montgomery County Maryland, just north of D.C. People there do not know how to drive, but they sure know how to keep busy. In his free time this past summer, Zach spent his days running experiments on DNA by day and as a waiter by night.

Some of the things Zach likes are brisk walking (or nearly running as his Midwest friends say), peanut butter, crackers, golden retrievers, and best of all, his friends.

Among his dislikes are spiders, pulpy orange juice, beets, and busywork. If you were to spot Zach, he would probably be playing video games, hanging with his friends, clothes shopping, studying Organic Chemistry, sipping a Starbucks latte, clubbing, or taking a nap.

Zach Labutta (Fall 2008- Spring 2009) joined wheatonIMPROV as a workshopper and is a founding member of Post Script Ambiguity (Fall 2008), wheatonIMPROV's first troupe made of entirely of workshop graduates
